Scratch n sniff

It's a good thing I was wearing pants today, for I was almost sodomized by a pit bull's snout at the dog park today. As I was standing there watching Reese antagonize dogs that are 10x his size and Kona amble about, it occurred to me that it's a lot like speed dating for humans in that judgments are made within the first 60 seconds or so.

And then I wondered if humans might be able to "sniff" out other people's character better, if we employed dog tactics for greeting one another?

Yes, this is one of the more mundane thoughts that run about my head.


Kona: Yaaaaaaaaaaay, going to the dog park! Needless to say, these brown eyes get him everywhere:)
