Here's a ghetto self-portrait of the boys and I. You would not believe how much it took just to capture this gnarley shot. Anyway, we just wanted to thank everyone for your kind words of support over the past week or so.

I just talked to my mom and she decided she would rather come here for Labor Day weekend and "get away." So, thanks for the comments below, and spa day, here we come!

I know, I know that Reese needs a hair cut and they're getting one this weekend. Why is it that when people see either one of my dogs for the first time, they always assume they're girls even when Reese has shorter hair (plus many other breeds have much longer hair)?

One cool thing about living in Seattle is that they have some type of fair or festival almost every weekend in the summer. Last weekend was the tail-end of Seafair where the Navy comes into town for Fleet Week.

These are the Blue Angels, which I recommend for anyone to see if they come to your area. The best part was when one of the jets buzzed over us only a couple hundred feet up.

I also toured a couple of Navy ships, which was entertaining because it had been a while since I'd been around some seamen.
